I like that idea of using the heat from the clothes dryer indoors, we do that, but with a gas fired dryer one could end up with a carbon monoxiide problem as it would be like an unvented space heater. Dangerous in that case.

Yes, your transformers will be important if they can help with grid waste. That’s why I believe in the rooftop wind turbines and hybrid solar systems is that so much electricity is wasted on the grid, simply lost.
