Hi Ken, YES! Exactly, see they have no idea without the picture of a system on the roof. So, it's imperative that you use the picture printed out and have one to hand off for them to KEEP. People have another picture in mind and it's intimidating to do something new. When they see what we are actually talking about, it changes everything.

LANGUAGE IS IMPORTANT: This is an appliance, not a wind mill, this is a home appliance that mounts on the roof. It's important to fram it right. We aren't building anything, it's simply an appliance installed on the roof like an antennae or satellite dish. So, you really (Should Not Have To) get a building permit in many municipalities. You will and should ask about an electrical inspection and inform that this "appliance" will be wired to code and inspected.

One customer recommends that you ask the inspector or officials if they can recomment an electrician. They may not do this. But if they do, it will be someone they trust. makes it part of a comfortable team of folks to get it done right and accept this new technology.
