Using Wind Maps and Resources<\/b><\/p>\n

\t\tThe most accurate maps are generally the Truewind maps, if available. Many of these maps you can zoom in (sometimes a lot) to see more detail for your location. On some of the "other map" sites, interactive zoom tools and\/or special mapping software packages may be available.<\/p>\n

\t\tWind varies with height above the ground. Once you’ve found your average wind speed range from the map, you need to think of wind obstacles and height of your turbine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
