Calculating Load vs Production of Turbine

Post by Antoniojfa »

I'm trying to design my "green circuit" in preparation for the installation. I am having trouble figuring power loads vs power produced. If the system (840 watts) constantly produces at 50% or 420 watts, (is that a reasonable assumption?) and I have an 8 (I'm going to get 12, but I want plenty of room to fiddle) batteries how much power can I use on a daily basis and keep the batteries healthy. I can figure the requirements to run each device. (ie. TV x number of hours, etc.) When you get time, any advice will be welcomed.

Wind Turbine Output vs Load

Post by admin »

Most of this is covered in a post here. The rated capacity of a system is almost it's peak output. It's like your car goes 120mph. Your daily operating averages don't run at those peak outputs. Then, you have to really consider all the variables of site and wind/solar resources.
