Illinois Wind Turbine, Off-Grid Power, Small Wind Generator

Postby Rooftop Wind Turbine » Sat Apr 24, 2010 2:46 pm

These pictures of an install in the country in Illinois. This couple had called me and were interested in powering their storage shed. Their acreage was a place to get away and vacation a bit, enjoy the country, rough it a bit. But they did need to have electricity to run some lighting, microwave, tevevision, radio and such.

Here are some pictures of their final Off-Grid system. This is not the HO 1.4kW system that we sell currently. It's a starter 850 watt Off-Grid wind/solar system from This is an 850 watt hybrid system that has a 700 watt windmill, together with 150 watts of solar panels. Buy Home Wind Turbines Here Since this site was nested in the trees, the customer decided to go with a guyed tower and put in a a best spot for wind on the property.

WindEnergy7 is the inventor of the RoofMill™ which is a rooftop wind turbine, But we also have a line of tower mounted systems that we can sell called TowerMill™. In this particular install the customer needs and their site was requiring a tower mounted system which is no problem at all.

The install and the success of the customer has been great. They have done so well with their self-installed system and have had many interested people that they decided to buy another system for demo in town. They are becoming another one of our fast growing network of owner/dealers spreading from Hawaii to Massachusetts. Become A Dealer Here

One thing in common with all other turbine owners... They quickly see how so many people are interested and want a system like this. These guys have done a great job with their off-grid system. Through the purchase and install process they have become experts with home energy in no more than about 60 days and now have a promising new business.
